In the third quarter of 2024, the top music and audio apps on the Android platform in Oceania demonstrated varying performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a dynamic quarter with weekly revenue peaking at around $219K in mid-August. Downloads started at 8.2K in early July, gradually increasing to a peak of 11.1K by mid-August, before tapering off to 8.6K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users rising from 3.59M to approximately 3.67M.

Music Holic-Offline Music experienced significant growth in downloads, starting at 486 in mid-July and surging to over 15.4K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 443 to more than 21.1K over the same period.

JBL Headphones maintained a steady download rate, starting at 4.9K in early July and peaking at 8.2K in late August. The app's active user count showed modest growth, rising from 15K to approximately 19.3K by the end of August before settling at 17.1K by the end of September.

Music Player & MP3 - DDMusic displayed consistent download figures, beginning at 5.1K in July and reaching 6.6K in early September. Active users increased from 27.5K to about 34.1K by the end of the quarter.
